3L Diamond is for application developers who use DSPs, FPGAs and GPPs to create multiprocessor systems.

Expressly created for multiprocessor systems, it is a tool-suite and model that provides a highly automated development flow from concept through to applications running in multiprocessor hardware. Unlike traditional design tools that are resource hungry and designed for single processors only, 3L Diamond simplifies the development of multiprocessor systems to improve productivity, and reduce risk and time-to-market.

Please note: This version of Diamond has a small number of significant differences from previous versions. If you have used Diamond before, you should read 'Changes from previous versions' carefully to ensure that you understand what changes you may need to make in existing applications.

Getting Started

If you are unfamiliar with Diamond, you should take a look at the introductory videos on your installation disc and on the 3L web site, or jump straight to the Getting Started section of this help file.

You can also launch the Diamond IDE right away and investigate the tutorials and examples that have been designed to get you started quickly. Go to the Windows start menu and select All Programs then 3L Diamond and then Diamond IDE
