Once you have selected your DSP board, clicking or Go/Run starts your selected application. The start button changes to grey and an indicator at the bottom right of the main display changes to Running.
Note that there may be a delay of several seconds if a bitstream needs to be sent to an FPGA; bitstreams can be very large and take a long time to load. If your application uses more than one FPGA, the delay after starting to load can be quite long.

If the server cannot locate a link interface to use to talk to your board, you get the following message:

There are several possible causes for this:

| • | You do not have a suitable board plugged into your PC; |
|
|
| • | You have more than one board, but have not selected the particular one you want to use; |
|
|
| • | You have another instance of the server running and that has already set up a link to your selected board; |
|
|
| • | Another application, possibly a maintenance utility from the board manufacturer, has claimed the board. |
