RSL Links

Newer Sundance TIMs provide a number of RocketIO Serial Link devices, which appear as links of type 'RSL'.

RSLs are connected using external cables. Please refer to the Sundance TIM documentation for details of cables and implementation details.

The link type RSL  give links made up from four lanes. These can be split into a larger number of single-lane links by using the link type 'RSL1'.

WIRE ? root[RSL:1] node[RSL:3]   ! RSLs 1 and 3 are connected

WIRE ? root[RSL1:8] node[RSL1:0] ! single-lane RSLs

RSL links can not be used to load processors.
