The C6000 processors include areas of on-chip, or internal, memory. The size and properties of these areas depend on the particular processor in use. Some or all of this internal memory can often be allocated as cache.
External memory
C6000 modules may have one or more areas of external memory, depending on the design of the board. These may be of different speeds.
