Example: Bandwidth Test Server

The Bandwidth Test Server example measures the speed of data transfer between host and DSP when the DSP runs the server application.

The example generates traffic between the PC and the DSP and, after a certain number of transfers, prints the amount of data transferred and the average transfer speed.

Running the Example

Make sure you have set the default processor type corresponding to the hardware you have as explained here.

Make sure you have the correct hardware connections as explained here.

You can build the application by typing Ctrl+B and then execute it by clicking run.

Build and run the host client from C:\3L\My Designs\examples\TCP_IP\TCP\bandwidth_test_server\PC.

Make sure you start the server first.
