Now that the ports have been named we can connect them.

Double click the Connections entry in the Diamond source view. This brings up information about the current connections between tasks. Make sure you have selected Ports in the Connect from and Connect to areas, and then expand the information about tasks by clicking the '+' next to the task names.

UPCConnections

Select driver_out from the list of source ports and upc_in from the list of destination ports and then click Connect. You can also make the connection by selecting one port and double-clicking the other. Note that ports are removed from the source and destination lists as they become unavailable for subsequent use.

UPCFirstConnection

Select the remaining ports, upc_out and driver_in and connect them.

UPCSecondConnection

At this stage you could select a particular connection in the Connections area and click Edit to change its properties. You can change the connection's name and its type: Virtual, Physical, or default.
