VHS ADC/DAC

This section describes the examples for the VHS ADC/DAC board.

The VHS ADC/DAC can be equipped with Virtex 4 FPGA SX55, LX100, or LX160. It can have only ADCs, only DACs, or a combination of them.

The examples as installed assume a VHS equipped with an SX55 FPGA, 8xADCs, and 8xDACs. If you have a different VHS configuration - a different type of FPGA, only ADC, or only DAC - you must modify the example to select the appropriate FPGA as shown below.

Double click vhs1, the FPGA of the VHS, to open the processor information page.

Click Select and choose the appropriate processor type from the list that appears.

The table below explains which processor type to choose according to the type of FPGA and the number of ADCs and DACs on your VHS board.
