Prerequisites

•	Check that you have the correct edition of Diamond for your target hardware;

•	Make sure that your Lyrtech hardware and software have been correctly installed and set up, as described in the manufacturer's documentation;

•	Ensure that the Texas Instruments code generation tools are installed. These usually come as part of TI's Code Composer Studio product [SPRU509].

Dragons003 This version of Diamond requires version 6 (or later) of the TI compiler, assembler, and linker; these are shipped with CCS version 3.3, or later;

•	Ensure that the Xilinx ISE tools are installed (you do not need to do this is you do not have a Diamond FPGA licence);

•	Insert your Diamond USB protection key (dongle) into a free USB slot.
